Vision

San Jose Elementary School as a center of excellence in basic education by the year 2010.

Mission

Turn-out educationally trained graduates who will be God-loving, Law-abiding, disciplined, responsible citizens of the Philippines.



School History

              The school was established during the pre-war where tough in a rented house by Mr. Eladio Bautista. When he was transferred to another school, Mr. Roberto Bautista took over.

              The classes were moved to a small chapel with Miss Macaria Cruz as a teacher. Later a two-room school building was built facing the river bank with Miss Vicenta Cruz teaching Grades I and II, with 60 pupils, Grades III and IV were handled by Mr. Ceferino Torres, Miss. Carpio took over Miss Vicenta Cruz. After Miss Carpio , came Miss Alvira Javier , a retired principal of E. Rodriguez Jr. Elementary School.

              After a few years, a new school building was constructed. San Jose Elementary School there was still a primary school with Miss Jacoba Linco, Miss De Jesus, Miss Lincuanan and Mr. Fajardo as teachers.

              After World War II, classed had to be organized though without a school building. Classes were held in a rented house.

              It was in the year 1948 when another school; building was constructed, a single-room building utilized by Grades I and II classes handled by Miss Angelina Garces.

              Most of the classes that were opened then were held in rented house. Pupils who finished their primary course would have had to complete their elementary course in Montalban Elementery School now Eulogio Rodriguez Jr., Elementary School.
