School History

Mangahan Elementary School was first located at Diaz compound in Mangahan. It is an annex school of ERES. It was opened last June, 1994 with three classes, Grade I-III with three (3) teachers.

Opening has to do with the completion of Government Program, “School in Every Brgy.”, and to cater he needs of Mangahan School children.

The first site has a land area of 280 square meter donated by Mrs. Anita T. Diaz to Brgy. Mangahan represented by former Brgy. Captain Juanito Jacobe.

During the school year 1998-1999, the school needs to open an additional grade that makes the school as complete elementary school; become an independent school.

Since the space is not enough, Mangahan Elementary School site was transferred to MillexRoad, Mangahan. The new site was purchased by the provincial Government with land area of 4,427 square meters but once the easement of the space near the river bank will be filled up for the use of the whole school site would be about 6,000 square meters through the help of Brgy. Captain Domingo M. Evangelista.

At present Mangahan Elementary School has two (2) academic buildings with a total fourteen (14) rooms, thirteen (13) used as classrooms and one (1) room used as office.
